Who We Are

Twenty years in financial strategy, one real reason we started Fechter Business Services.

Fechter Business Services was founded by Randi Fechter, a Fractional CFO and Business Strategy Advisor with twenty years in financial strategy and business management, to give established service business owners what they've been missing: clear answers about what's driving their revenue, cash flow, and profit, and what to do about it next.

We don't start with advice. We start with infrastructure, because advice without a controlled decision environment is just opinion.

Who We Work With

Owners who are already doing the hard part.

What looks like a revenue problem, a hiring decision, or a growth plateau almost always has a structural failure underneath it. We work with owners of established service businesses, typically $500K to $10M in revenue, who are already doing the hard part. Many are fast moving and idea rich: they generate demand, deliver at a high level, and invest in their own growth. But decisions around hiring, pricing, expansion, or debt feel heavier than they should, because the drivers of the business aren't fully understood or controlled.

  • Owner is still deeply involved in key decisions
  • Revenue has grown, but clarity hasn't kept pace
  • Hiring, pricing, debt, or expansion decisions feel heavier than expected
  • More opportunities come in than there's time to evaluate them
  • Company revenue typically between $500K and $10M

73% of companies between $1M and $10M in revenue are completely dependent on their founder for daily operations.

Why This, Not That

Everyone around you amplifies the vision.
Who's paid to tell you what the numbers actually say?

Most advisors address the symptom. We find the breakdown underneath it. In the first sixty minutes, we can usually tell you what your business is actually trying to say.

Control before expansion. Always.

That's the foundation everything else stands on.
